Carmen Loh


Bachelor Degree in Dance (Honors)

Carmen started traditional Chinese dance lessons at a tender age of seven and moved on to Hip-Hop classes by the age of 13. Continuous training and practice has won her several competitions including the popular Digi Live Dance competition in 2011 and Super Dancer competitions in 2013. In 2017, her team won The Best Showcase Award at Stereo Night with an item she choreographed and performed in.

After high school, she followed her dreams and enrolled in the Cultural Centre at University of Malaya where she obtained a Bachelor Degree of Performing Arts in Dance with Honors. She managed to expand her dance repertoire in Contemporary as well as Malaysian Traditional Dance while pursuing her studies in the University. During her time with UM, she was selected to perform in local and international productions such as JKKN Malaysia in 2016, and the International Choreography Festival in Philippines in March, 2017.  

She joined the Dancesteps team in 2017, and is currently teaching Hip-Hop and Contemporary.
